TRANSLATION
- So, it’s decided, you’re leaving today ? You can leave either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
- We’re leaving today. We have to wish Jean’s parents a happy New Year.
- I’m eager to introduce my… to introduce Marie to them. We’re invited to diner this evening and we have to go either to Boulogne or Paris first to take a shower. We didn’t decide yet.
- You know you make a great couple ?
- It’s… very nice of you…
C’est sûr : It’s decided.
Souhaiter : to wish.
Impatient, impatiente : eager.
Décider : to decide.
Couple (masc.) : couple.
Soit… soit… is exactly the same as either… or. And it works the same way : we put the first word before the first option then the second one juste before the second option.

Vous pouvez partir soit cet après-midi, soit demain matin.
Nous devons d’abord rentrer soit à Boulogne,
soit à Paris pour prendre une douche.
Translate in French :

2. You can choose either this one or that one or both.
3. They have to choose either the right or the left.
4. We make a great couple.
5. How nice of you !

What do you understand ?
