Examen (masc.) : examination, exam. Ecouter : to listen. Cœur (masc.) : heart. Poumon (masc.) : lung. Respirer : to breath. Tester : to test. Réflexe (masc.) : reflexe. Taper : to hit. Genou (masc.) : knee. Faire mal : to hurt. Appuyer : to push. Noter : to write down. Normal, normale : normal. |
In English we express the near future by saying « I'm going to do something ». It's the same in French. When we want to express something that is going to happen really soon, we use :
present tense of aller + infinitive of the action verb
Nous allons écouter votre cœur. Il va tester vos réflexes. Attention ! If we need to use an object pronoun, we place it between aller and the infinitive.
Je vais vous faire un examen.
